Can't connect to publish

I'm new to publishing. I published once but I didn't realize that Extensions
weren't turned on and the files were loaded incorrectly. I delete the files
on the server using the ISP's file manage. and enabled Extensions. I'm
trying to publish again but keep getting the Name and Password dialog. I'm
entering the correct password but the password box keeps reappearing
everytime I enter. I can login from the ISP's login with no problem. Can
someone tell me how to troubleshoot?
