can't convert my presentation to read only

The 'attribute box' which I am supposed to click to make it 'read only' is
greyed out. I've tried everything and nothing works.
HELP!

Rene,
Have you tried to check the box using Windows explorer? Rightclick on you
PPT file and choose Properties.
