Can't copy Local Folder files back into OE from CD

DickJ65

After a HD crash, I can't get the Local Folders that I
copied to CD, back into OE. First, I can't remove the
Read Only attribute, I uncheck the box, but I get a
message that I don't have permission to do so. I have
opened a new Local Folder called Test in OE (ver 6.0) and
then closed OE and opened Explorer and found the file
under \Local settings\MS\OE. I dragged the old folder
called Test from the CD to the file called Test in
Explorer. It shows the proper KB for the file, but when I
reopen OE, and click on TEST under Local Folders...it is
empty!! What am I not understanding here? Help please!!

Thank you,
DickJ65

Remove the read only file property and try again. If it still doesn't work;

Ask in an Outlook Express forum. This is an Microsoft Office Outlook forum.

Outlook Express is family of Internet Explorer and Outlook of the Office
family.
