Can't Delete or Move older messages in Outlook 2000

I can not delete or move any message older than Jul 9 2004. I have Outlook
2000(internet only) running on Windows 2000.

I receive the following error when deleting...
The message interface has returned an unknown error. If the problem
persists, restart Outlook.
Or when trying to move to another folder...
Can't move the items. The item could not be deleted. It was either moved or
already deleted, or access was denied.

I have removed and reloaded MS Office
I have run the inbox repair tool

Still have the problem, please help...
