Can't Drag in events/contacts/notes/tasks into Outlook 2003 trial

I was running Outlook 2000 when my computer crashed. Luckily, I had saved all
of my contacts, recurring events, tasks and notes (as vcards, vcalendar etc).
Now I downloaded the trial version of Outlook 2003, but I can't drag any of
my old files in. And when I open the files, it doesn't give me the option to
save. Any advice?

From the File menu of Outlook 2003, select Import and Export.
You are given the ability to import vcards and vcalendar files.
The wizard should help step you through the process.

Thanks, Dawn. When I wrote this last night, it was not giving me the option
to Import or Export. Magically, when I booted up this morning, I could drag
files in, and save, and create (weird). But now the question is, it won't let
me import my vcards - says the format is improper. and when i manually drag
the vcards in, my "activities" tab info is missing... any help?

thanks

See
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;197026#XSLTH3147121123120121120120
for converting your vCard to a text file. You could have extra
spaces in the format of your text file, which is corrupting the
location of your Activities tab.
