can't enable read-only powerpoint feature?

Hi my son has student/teacher MS office and can't enable the read-only
feature for power point. Help says to click "save as" and then click "tools"
and then "properties" except there is no "properties" under tools. Any one
know how to do this?

Marlo, Bob is correct that it should be File/Save As, then Tools/Security
Options.

If you want to set a password before you get to the save point (or if you
don't want to have to do the Save As thing), you can use Tools/Options and
go to the Security tab there.

Also, I just checked, and the Help file is definitely wrong. Thanks for
mentioning it -- I'll ping someone who can get this fixed.
