Hi all,

Yet again another one. I too am having this same problem, and it seems like
there isn't a fix for it posted anywhere.

This problem happened, I believe, after I "cleaned up" a few folders in my
HD using one of those free space-finder tools. Looks like I must have deleted
something I shouldn't...

Please let me know if you gyus find anything on how to get rid of this.

Thanks,

JD

I also have the same problem. The only thing I fiound that helped was to
do a system restore to before the problem started. That did eliminate
the problem.
But I'm curious if you found a way to install the missing file or fix
it in any other way.

Like you, I upgraded my hard drive. I used Seagate's disk copy utility.
Then I had problems with some programs including office and I received the
identical message, cab not found.
I plugged in the old hard drive and found that I had dozens of files under
C:\windows\installer, whereas the new drive had nothing in this folder. I
copied everything from the old directory to the new and office ran the repair
utility without a hitch. (Still no 511735.... file but it no longer asks for
it)
