Cant find the Formatting Toolbar on my Spreadsheet.

Cant find the Formatting Toolbar on my Spreadsheet. I am still learning about
spreadsheets and am using XP now instead of 2000. I managed with 2000 but
things seem different on XP.
Can you help please.

Pardon the elementary question, but ... have you tried:
<View> <Toolbars>,
And make sure that "Formatting" *IS* checked?

View>Toolbars. Is the Formatting Toolbar listed? If so, click on it.

If not listed, hit Customize>Toolbars and look for the Formatting Toolbar.
Select and checkmark it.

Have you tried View|Toolbars?
You do know that the default is to have two toolbars on one row?
