cant get office 2003 to load on my computer?

when i try to put office 2003 onto my computer i get a message saying error
opening installation log file please verify that log file and location exists.
My computer was reformatted recently could this be the problem?
and if so what do i do to fix it

there can be a problem for setup creating the log file, probably because
permission issues.

Try to create the logfile at a location you surely have full access by
launching

path \setup.exe /L*v c:\Officelog.txt

where c:\officelog.txt is the logfile's location.
