Can't get Office 2007 home student to install

Running vista premium. I had installed Office standard 2007 and tried it for
a week or two. And wanted to try Home office student 2007. Installing both
stndard and home made standard accessible but not Home. So I uninstalled,
standard and home and then reinstalled home. There is no program available to
open outlook. Maybe you can tell me where to look in the directory tree?

There is no outlook to open in the program menu. But it claims when I
installed that the install was finsihed. I've tried to repair the install
too, but still no outlook to open.

Honestly. You guys can't do an install?

The only difference between them is that HSE has OneNote and Standard has
Outlook.

Honestly, you can't read the label to see what programs comes with your
software suite?

It certainly doesn't help when contributors (especially somewone granted MVP
status) are condescending to people who are just looking for assistance.

You mean to tell me that the only difference between home student and stndard
is
HSE has OneNote and Standard has Outlook? I thought I saw somewhere that
the calendar was different in HSE. I thought i saw that there were folders
going along the top and the side of the GUI. That you could keep your meal
plan organized on one of those folders--which I thought was cool.

But if what you're telling me is true, why doesn't someone just put that on
the web site so that we can tell quickly and clearly what the different
versions give us?

Honestly, you made me spend how many hours to figure this out?

Since Outlook is not included with HSE, you don't get that calendar.

And spending time researching your software purchase is what you;re supposed
to do. That's called being an informed consumer.
