Can't get to web site - Initialize Frontpage?

I'm running vista. for some reason when I go to publish, it ask for User Id
and password as usual. But now it won't accept it.
When entered and pressing enter, it very rapidly returns for me to enter
again. It doesn't matter how many times I enter it just wont
get out. It's like its empty. It say the server is looking for a non
encrypted password, which is what I'm entering. Is there something I can do
to re-initialize Front Page?

Well I was able to get to the site using Cute FTP. However
it keeps timing out on me.
I was being guided by my host provider. Their instructions
called for me to open the Form page, then place cursor in
the "Submit" Button, right click and do the properties.
I've never clicked on the "Submit" before, always somewhere
in the page Now even though I've changed my password and
fixed FrontPage extensions, I can not get to my server. It
just tells me the host is looking for unencrypted user and
password. I'm not encrypting them. Any ideas?

If you have uploaded or edited files w/ FTP you have probably clobbered the FP SE
- have your host run a FP SE server health check or repair, and provide you the FP SE credentials
