Can't import exported .pst file

I exported Outlook info to .pst file, saved it on CD. Did
an upgrade from Win Me to Win XP, installed Office 2000
Small Business. Attempt to import same .pst files doen't
work because it says I don't have access rights. How to
get the two .pst files back into Outlook? Thanks.

try saving all to your hard disk, then import. The CD

will create file attributes that block the direct import.

Hey, many thanks. Moving the file to the hard disk
worked, and I had earlier removed the ReadOnly
attribute. Now, if only I had also saved my contact list.

Your contact list is IN the pst file.
