Can't Load WORD 2000

The suggested link was not appropriate for me as it
pertained to OFFICE 2000 whereas my WORD 2000 software
came as part of WORKS SUITE 2000. I did find the problem
to be a corrupted NORMAL.dot file. Next task --- learn
more about that file and what I may have done.

Word 2000 is Word 2000, whether it comes as part of Office or Works Suite. I
