Can't "nudge" in Word 2002 XP

When I Copy Drawing and Paste, or Select All, Copy, Paste from Visio 2003
into Word 2002 XP, it does not copy in as a shape that can be "nudged" with
the arrow keys. This used to work when we had Word 97.

Even if I do a Save As in a .bmp or .gif format instead of .vsd, same
problem.
