can't open projects from PWA 2007

Greetings,

I posted this in microsoft.public.project before I found this group...

When I try to open, edit, or create new projects from PWA 2007, the
internet browser displays a dialog box showing: "Microsoft Project
Professional 2007 is required for this action. Ensure that your copy
of Project Professional 2007 can connect to this server. If both of
these conditions are true, contact your system administrator for
assistance." I am able to connect to the server using the project
2007 client, just not from PWA. I suspect that someone else at my
organization changed some of the IIS settings on the PWA server while
working on SharePoint configuration. Can anyone offer some
assistance
on what changes I should look for in order to make Projects
accessible
again through PWA?

Thank you,
Mike

You usually see this error message when the URL used to access PWA is not
the same as the URL specified in the login account in Project Professional.
Can you confirm that the two URL's are identical between the two
applications? Let us know.

Dale,

Thank you for the response. The URL's are identical. Everything was
working fine with PWA until someone went into IIS and changed settings
in an effort to change domain\username login to username login. I
don't know how to set things straight again, and I'm not sure what
specific values were changed.
