can't print double-sided copies

I have installed Office 2007, except I am still using Word 2000. I have a
Lexmark Z42 printer. When I try to use the 2-sided printing option (which
used to work) in either publisher 2007 or word 2000, it will only print
single-sided copies.

Does anyone have any ideas about this?

That printer doesn't appear to have duplexing capability. I suspect you
need to configure it to print all the even pages first, then flip the
stack of printout over and print the odd pages on the other side. You
may want to review the printer installation and setup.
