The link in the email response displays a blank page. I can't read the answer
to my question. Please try again.

Instead of using that horrible web interface, try using a newsreader, such
as Outlook Express, Windows Mail, or Windows Live Mail. Believe me, it's
much easier to read your responses that way.

And then there are those of us who prefer not to have to re-read everything
that's been said to date before reading a reply. Kind of like having
watching a rerun before you get the new episode. ;-)

If I had the entire series at one time I would start at the beginning. I was
getting them in installments, I would watch each one as it arrives and not
watch Part 1 then 2, and then Part 1, 2, and the 3., etc. ;-)

But at the start of each episode, you'd still get the "Previously, on
[InsertSeriesNameHere]"; shorter than the original message but
sufficiently long to remind you of what happened last time...

....that I fast forward thru. I've been a top poster since day 1. Not sure
who decided it was bad or why. Probably a bottom poster. ;-)

And can you honestly see how bottom posting means scrolling down and down
and down only to learn the poster say "Ditto"?

To each his own.

It's just common sense: http://www.caliburn.nl/topposting.html

Can you *honestly* not see how top-posting forces everyone to read threads
backwards...?

To each his own.

Sometimes I top-post, sometimes I bottom-post, sometimes I interleave-post.
I try to suit the method to the type of thread (not merely the ng) I'm in &
how many msgs are already in it & how much background needs to be left in.

I've left more background from this thread below. :)
