can't reinstall office 2003 professional after format harddrive

I recently formatted my harddrive and tried to re-install office 2003
professional. The installation files start to load, window installer kicks
in, then stops. I get a message "invalid product key". I haven't even got to
enter the key yet. Any suggestions?
