Can't sign messages with a valid certificate.

Hello.
I've got a valid certificate that is intended for e-mail signing.
When I view the certificate, it says like this

This certificate is intended for the following purpurpose(s)
Protects e-mail messages
You have a private key that corresponds to this certificate

I can choose this certificate at Outlook Options-> Change Security
Settings->Select Certificate. But when I try to digitally sign a
message, outlook complaints like,

Invalid Certificate
Microsoft Office Outlook could not sign or encrypt this mesage because
you have no certificates whici can be used...

I've tried with other valid certificates but the the result was the
same. I think this is might be because I have changed some system
settings like disabling Windows services or deleting files. Can you
suggest anything that I can do to use e-mail singing? Thanks.

Does the name on the certificate match the email account that you are using
to try to send the signed mail?

Yes. The certificate has the same e-mail account name.
I've just found that I can SIGN a mail when using The Bat! (another
e-mail agent application). With The Bat!, I could digitally sign a
message and send it. But the problem is I want to use Outlook, not The
Bat!
