Can't stretch video in Powerpoint 2000

I cannot seem to successfully stretch video in a Powerpoint 2000 presentation
slide and have it appear stretched in slide show mode. In other words, if I
stretch this 480x640 video in slide edit mode to fit the full screen, when I
go to slide show mode it only plays at 640x480 in the bottom left corner.
This happens on two computers running WIN2000. It does NOT happen on my WIN
XP machine. On that machine, I actually see a full screen video in slide
show mode.

Is this a Powerpoint 2000 issue? A WIN2000 issue? Or a video card issue
(one WIN2000 machine is running a Nvidia card, the other is running an ATI
card)?
