Card Alignment

J

john a wolz

I posted a memo regarding the alignment to print cards
with backgrounds. I am using a HP7550 which should allow
me the ability to make adjustments to the print area. I
have a background on the card and the adjustments seem to
be very limited in the options area of printing. I keep
getting a white line at the bottom if I use settings
Slide margin .75, Top margin .5,HG=0 and VG=0 still
causes me to have a white line at the bottom of the page
of cards. I was wanting to know if there are any
additional setting that can be adjusted to get a better
job?

Thanks,
John

This is a limitation of your printer. See the following

John that is the limit of your printer and printer driver, and has nothing
to do with Publisher.

The majority of ink jet printers have an 3mm to 10mm bottom margin.

Printing right to the edge is called Bleed Printing and usually this is only
supported on high gloss photographic papers or certain size page options.
