I have built some ordinary FrontPage sites.
I have a question for anyone with a "bright" idea.
It is probably too simple for me to see.
I have FP2000 and plan on getting 2003 soon.
Operating system Xp Pro w/ office 2003, Publisher 2003, MS Digital Imaging
Pro

I have a 60 page catalogue of parts with a price index.
Any ideas on how to just scan and "present" the catalogue as pages with
minimum work?
It would be nice if all I had to do was create a general category index with
links to pages.
Yes, I know, I'm lazy.

If you really want to this to be useful to visitor and to be indexed in search engines*, it needs to
be text and individual product images.

Another approach is to just make the catalog into a PDF file that user can download, some of the
search engines can now index PDF files.

Thanks.
It's a thought.
I didn't think of the PDF approach.

The existing cats have no or very few pictures.

BTW
Give me a reason or two to spend ~$100. to upgrade from FP2000 to FP2003.
Nothing grabs me but I am one who always must have the latest.

The reason to upgrade needs to be based on if you feel you will need the new feature and will
actually use them, otherwise if FP2000 currently meets you needs, then there really is no reason to
upgrade.

Chris Leeds, MVP-FrontPage

There's many reasons to spend the $100, for me the biggest are "split view"
and "code snippets", mmmm snippets. :)

BTW; if you scan these pages to PDF make sure you do it with an OCR program
and just not a "picture" of the page as a .tiff (no search engine will read
that).
