Shape Search in Visio 2003 Professional

Hello everybody!

I found that some people already had problems like mine exactly, for
example here:

.... but I haven't found any answers to them. So I decided to repeat
the question by copying it from URL above.

I am having trouble with the shape search feature in Visio 2003 Pro.

I regularly get the error "1. Visio Local Shapes - The Visio Indexing
Service Catalog does not exist. Please repair the Visio
installation".

The Visio index does exist, the indexing service is started, and I can
manually query the index. I have repaired the installation and
restarted Visio and still have the problem.

And now my words again. Situation is the same. Indexing service is
running, catalog named "Visio" does exist and started too. Does
anybody have an idea what I can to do to "repair" Visio (btw, setup's
"repair" function doesn't help).

One more thing (maybe it helps to understand what's happening). If I
run Visio and go to the "Tools" - "Options" - "Shape Search" - "Visio
Local Shapes" - "Properties" window, option "No, do not enable
Indexing Service" is selected. If I select "Yes, enable Indexing
Service", press "Ok" and immediately push "Properties" button again,
"No, do not enable" option will be selected again, so it doesn't save
my choice.
