Catalogue Merge - text formatting

I have a problem, when using catalogue merge in publisher my template and
preview of text renders correctly (verdana font 8pt) but when i complete the
merge the font changes to Times 10pt. Is there anyway of stopping this from
happening??????? Any suggestions would be much apprieciated.

Do you *Merge to a new publication* in step 3 (step 5 in 2003)? Try that and see
if the font selection sticks.

When you say template, is this a Publisher template or one you created yourself?
I have discovered using a Publisher catalogue template has unpredictable results
when merging.

Yip i merge to a new publication and then the text all changes. I did find
away around this by copying the document i was working on and then instead of
merging to a new publication i added to a publication, chose the copied file
and it seemed to work.... strange and a bit clumsy to do but the end result
works...
