My computer crashed. It developed a boot record fault, so
I reormatted it, and made bootable another HD resident in
my machine. Now I cannot re-install two software pkgs.
that I purchased from OfficeMax, namely, Access 2002 and
Excel 2002. I get the msg that says the installation
routine cannot find a compatible product on any media in
my computer.
I cannot ask Microsoft for online help because
Microsoft's menu-driven online help assumes I have the
pkgs installed, and that if I want to get help from them,
I will need the product ID number, which is accessible
from the dropdown Help tab in the opening screen of
Access and Excel. Huhhh?
