categorizing

Hello I'm using Project 2003 and want to categorize various taks. I
haven't figured out how to add categories. Is there a way?

Hi,
By Categories I take it you want to group tasks into logical groupings, such
as civil, mechanial, electrical etc in construction. If this is what you
mean then use the custom fields and select say Text1 and call it Category,
right click in the columns and select show columns and select Text1. Then in
that column you can assign a sopecific identifier to the tasks and it allows
you to filter on those values.
