Cell alignment using a comma

Laura

Please Help ASAP...
When we enter a number with a comma, the cell will not
align to th right or left. It appears to be stuck in the
center.
NOTE: It works with decimals fine it is just the comma
that prevents the alignment.

Sounds like it is changing to Accounting Style.

Check the formatting of the cell(s).

Also check out Format>Styles>Accounting and see what the format is.

Why are entering numbers with a comma?

Just enter as 12345 and format to Number, which should default to 12,345.00

Again, you can alter that in Format>Styles>Normal.
