Column width not large enough
Click on the main column header (A,B.C, etc) so entire column is selected. Go to Format menu and column then click autofit.

Or your currency setting is wrong 
When working with Excel, it's a good idea to call this # a hash sign, so you
do not confuse people who think you mean one of these £
