Cell Formatting - 2nd Request

Hello

I am using Excel XP. In my spreadsheet, The cells that
were included in "set print area" cannot be formatted.
The "Format Cells" option under the Format menu (Ctrl+1)
is not greyed out; however, when chosing that option,
nothing happens (no dialog box). But, if I chose a blank
cell outside of the print area, I can activate the format
cell dialog box.

Why is this happening and how do I fix it? I copied the
cells to a new worksheet and the same thing happens.

I hope I explained my problem clearly.

Thank you!

Thank you for your reply. Yes, I did try the right-click
and it does the same (nothing). Some of the cells are
blank and some have a number. It's a time sheet with
number of hours worked on a project (usually a 1-digit
number). Seems to be a problem only for the cells within
the print area.

Can you send me the file, (e-mail address removed). Let me know which cell(s) it
is and I will see if I get the same results.

Hi, Wayne

Did you receive my file and did you have a chance to
review it?

Thanks for your help!
