challenging problem: still can't play movie in ppt

I have tried Austin's and Sonjia's suggestions of shortening the link and
installing pfc program and still ppt gives me a black screen when I attempt
to play the movie in ppt. It used to play just fine a while ago, then it
would only play if I went to "set program default" menu and changed the
settings to MS every single time. Now doesn't play no matter what I do.
Please please help. thank you.

Austin, I have tried any video, any format. I think problem started after I
installed Adobe Premiere. I have uninstalled that program and re-installed
Windows, Office, media player and even all the codecs and the Encoder. It
still only gives me a black screen! Thank You.
