change a hyperlink color

This not a question as such; a comment more than anything.

I was trying to change the color of my hyperlink on one of my power point
files. I was not sure how I wanted to do that, so I got online to find any
instructions available. I did find some and tried it. All those instructions
seemed to do for me was change the background color of the slide. The
hyperlink did get a color change, but not by the MS instructions.

Hi

you might like to post this in a powerpoint newsgroup rather than the one
for MS's project management software product called "Project"

but to answer your question (and this depends a bit on your version of
powerpoint)
- under format / colour scheme OR if that's not on your menu
- choose format / slide design - and choose color scheme from the top
section of the task pain
choose the base colour scheme you want and then if you chose format / color
scheme click on CUSTOM - you'll see where you can change the hyperlink
colours
if you are using the task pain, you'll have to choose EDIT COLOR SCHEME
first from the bottom of the task pain and then choose custom ...
