Change Contact Database default to sub-list

When I open my contacts, it defaults to my main contacts. I want to have it
open one of my sub-lists of contacts listed under Contacts in heirarchy.

How do I do that?

Also, how do I access the email addresses of contacts not in the
main/default list from the To: section in the E-mail screen?

Open your address book then select Tools->Options. Select the contacts
folder you want displayed as the default there.
