Change header quickly in many documents

Hello,
this is my request for help:
I use many models of Word and each document has a header. I often have to change the header (for now is a 3x1 table and the content is text and image).
There is a simple way, for example a macro or a word command, that allows me to change the contents of the header automatically in all documents? Now I have to do it manually for each document, and I employ a very long time to do it!

are you talking about documents (*.doc) or about templates (*.dot)?
If you had stored the header as an AutoText entry, and linked it to the
headers, it would be easy to exchange the AutoText entry - and each file
would adopt it.
