Change in dispaly order

This is probably a goofy question which has a simply answer but here goes.

In the last week whenever I am in any of my office applications and go to
open a file the open list that appears is always in a reverse order, z-a and
folders last. I am running Office 2003 on a WinXP machine.

Any other application I open , the open dialog box shows up in the correct
order, a-z with folders showing first.

I haven't made any changes to any Office applications other than the normal
updates and a Microsoft add-on to allow me to open Word07 documents in
Word03. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Chip,

When in the Word File=>Open dialog clicking on the column title should reverse the sequence.
