change pictures opening in 'clip organizer' to 'picture manager'

Somehow I changed a format somewhere and when I click on a picture now, it
automatically tries to open it in 'clip organizer' - and there's no picture.
I have to right click the picture and ask it to open in 'picture manager'. I
want to change this back and have them open properly again. Can anyone help
me?

Thank you - I can do that with the ones I have on my computer. For new ones
coming in, though, they still revert to the 'clip' style.

Coming in from where? If you are downloading images from the Office Media site they
will always go into the Organizer.

When I get a picture through e-mail and click to open, or when I scan a new
picture into my computer and click to open. It is automatically set to open
everything in clip organizer first. A few months ago, when I was working
with clips, the computer asked if I wanted to open all my pics in this format
and I mistakenly said yes. So now, I guess I have to go into each picture
and change the properties - a huge job! I was hoping I could change it all
back as easily as I'd messed it up.

You don't have to do each picture, just each extension. Control panel, folder
options, view tab, clear "Hide extensions for known file types."

What Mary said.

Also, here are step-by-step instrux for fixing your PPT file associations.
The instrux will be very similar to fix your image format associations.
Hopefully this will get you going.
