change text color based on logical test

Anybody knows how to change the color of the text used in a cell based on a
IF test of the cell's value?

Hi

if you're talking about 3 or less criteria, you can use conditional
formatting to do this (format menu)
if you need further assistance please post back with more details on the
criteria, desired formatting etc
