Changing default folder fields (Outlook 2000)

Is there a way to change the default fields that appear
when you create a new mail folder in outlook, i.e., adding
the Size field as a default, and is there a way to apply
this change to all currently existing folders in an
account without having to manually add it on each folder?

Go to the parent folder. If the parent folder is Outlook Today, right-click on it, choose Properties, and uncheck the box to display a home page for that folder.

Then, add the desired field(s) to the table view display for this folder. From this point on, newly-created child folders will also display these field(s) by default.

I do not know of a way to accomplish it in a batch fashion for existing folders.
