changing duration when adjusting %complete

Hey everybody,

Here I go,

I set a task duration for 2 days. assign 1 person to complete it. He
actually completes the task in 1 day. So I want to set the %complete to 100%
and I want the duration to change to one day automatically.

How would I set this up.

Hello Andre,

Set the actual duration to 1 day and change the remaining duration from
1 day to zero. The Task will be marked 100% complete. When the task is
completed in less time than planned, you'll need to change remaining
duration manually to reflect the decrease in actual duration.

No, I never thought of that. I was hoping for something to where I could just
mark the task complete.
