Changing file location of movie/object files in PowerPoint

J

Jessica

Greetings!

How do I go about changing the file location for a movie/object file that
was inserted into PowerPoint with out reinserting the new file?? For
example, the file was once stored in Folder A and was then moved to Folder B,
how would I tell PowerPoint to look for it in Folder B instead of Folder A?

Thanks!
Jessica

You must move the file, then delete it in your presentation and reinsert it.
That will force PowerPoint to recreate the link correctly.

By the way, Folder B should also contain your presentation and any other files
that you plan to link to. See the following for more explanation:

Sounds/Movies don't play, images disappear or links break when I move or email a
presentation
