Changing font from Times New Roman to Arial permanently

Beate Gregoric

Hello,

is it possible to change the font permanently to Arial for all
textboxes within a publication or better for all new publications?
Creating a new style or editing the normal style does not work
properly.

Thanks in advance

You don't mention your version of Publisher. But for Publisher 2002/2003
please see the following link:

Hi Brian,

thank you for the link. There is version 2000 on my desktop with
Windows 98 and 2002 on my laptop with Windows XP, all german versions.

In 2000 there is only a file named MSPUB.pub and it is possible to
save an additional style in this file, but is it true that I will have
to import the new style into my new publication each time? I was
looking for a more comfortable way.

In Publisher 2002 there is no *.pub file at all, I searched my laptop
including the hidden files.

I noticed that the style normal can be changed accordingly in both
versions, but only for the open publication.

Regards
Beate

The file you need to change (or create) is called normal.pub, and needs to
be located in your Templates folder.
