Uninstall Office XP from the current machine. Load it on
the new machine. During the registration process you will
be given the opportunity to register it on the new
machine. If it will not register you will be presented
with a phone number to call. Explain to the person you
talk to that you uninstalled it from one an dmoved it to
another. They will help you from there.
Make sure you uninstall it from the first machine.
Upgrading Office XP to Office 2003 probably does not free
up that license. Make sure you do a fresh install of
Office 2003, not an upgrade.

another machine? The other potential problem is I have
two copies of Office XP (two discs for laptop and desk)
and am not sure which disc installed to which machine.
