Hi Jurie
Set the margins for the whole template to the size you want them for the
second and remaining pages.
In File > Page Setup, on the Layout tab, check the box for "Different first
page" headers.
On the first page of the template, cut the logo to the clipboard. Open the
header area (it should say "First Page Header" in the upper left). Use
Insert > Text Box, and draw a text box in the part of the page where you
want the logo. If you want the first page's right text margin to be uniform,
make the text box go all the way from the top to the bottom of the text
column.
Right-click the text box, select Format Text Box, and set its Fill to "No
fill", its Line to "No line", and its text wrapping (on the Layout tab) to
Square. Paste the logo into the text box. Close the header and save the
template.
When you create a document based on the template, the text box will force
all the body text to stay to its left. Because the text box is only in the
First Page Header, the rest of the pages will use the regular document
margin.
The logo will be dimmed on screen but will print normally, just like
anything else in the header.
