Changing Multiple Contacts

If I have several contacts with the same mailing address and want to update
that address, is there an easy way to update them all at once?

Maybe I'm being daft about this. I've tried two different methods per the
link provided and am getting nowhere. Is there someone that can give me
exact step-by step directions?.

I can't any better than what;'s on that page. Perhaps you could clarify your
