Changing page color for a letter/ adding textures.

I am working on a Reunion letter for my family and want to change th
page color or make it textured. It shows up but will not print out. The
Words print, but not the color or the texture [I've tried both]. Ca
anyone help me??

Which version of Word are you using? If you are using a recent version,
display the Options dialog box (Office button | Word Options in Word 2007,
File tab | Options in Word 2010 or 2013); in the Display category, select
"Print background colors and images" and click OK.
