Changing QT to Not play Automatically

Hi All,

I'm wondering if there's any way to stop a movie from playing automatically.
When I imported the movie, I chose to Play Automatically, now I'd like to
wait for a mouse click. Is there any way to do this without re-importing the
movie? Many thanks.

Yes, there is a way. When you have the slide with the movie object open, go
to Slide Show -> Animations -> Custom. In the left pane, select the movie
file (probably called "Media 1" or something like that). Then, click the
"Options" tab, and uncheck "Play using Animation Order". Then, you need to
click the sound icon to start it.

If you want to have it so that the sound plays on a regular mouse click
without having to scroll and click the sound icon, check "Play using
Animation Order", and then click the "Order & Timing" tab. Select the movie
file (probably called "Media 1" or something like that), and, under "Start
Animation", select "On mouse click". Then change it's position in the list
so that it starts when you want it to.

That did the trick. Thanks a lot.
