Changing the text box default fonts

I have searched and searched for this. MS offers an answer and gives a web
link which then sends you back to the original web page. ie no answer.
There has to be a way to do this. Their help doesn't work. Has anyone found
a way to do this. I hate Times New Roman fants and want all my text boxes to
come up with Arial 12 point and I'm tired of changing it.
