changing timescale for a specifuc task

Bob Porter

I am using MS Project 98. The specific project that I am
working on only has 7 tasks. I need to show the
timescale in days, however, one of my tasks takes 45 days
with no subtasks. Is there a way to change the timescale
for this task or hide some of these days to print the
project clearly on 1 page?

Thanks,

Bob

Not inside Project (far as I know). Assuming this will be some sort of
presentation-quality image, would do it manually.

Use the camera icon or simply copy/paste a couple of images (panning to
right for each). Paste into a graphics tool (I use The Gimp) and clip
out the unwanted time-scale. Put the pieces to together side-by side
and insert some sort of cryptic graphic over the "cut-out" section.
Then paste resulting image into Word or something.
