Changing % to a Resource Name

In the tracking view, how do I show the name of the resource in addition to
the % complete? Can I even show both? If not, I would prefer to show the
resource name.

Go to format menu, select barstyles, select the bar you want to modify then
in the bottom select the text tab and choose which field to display and
where. You can display a number of fields but I prefer placing them to right
and left only as it does not increase the line height.

Two methods.
Method 1 -- Insert Columns to display the data:
1. To show the information in column format, Insert/Column... select
%Complete. Repeat the process to show resource names.

Method 2-- Show the information on the Gantt Bars

2. If you wish the information to be shown on the Gantt Bars use the Gantt
Chart Wizard: Format/Gantt Chart Wizard... Select the "Custom task
information" on the screen that requirest what task information you want to
display. Then select the appropriate information from the next screen.

3. Format/Bar Styles... Select the bar style you wish to modify and then
pull the text tab at the bottom. Select the information desired from the
drop downs.
