Characters while composing a mail.

Whenever i open a new mail (composing) or replying, i'm getting a special
character ¶ at the end of each line.
Eg.

¶
¶
Thanks,¶
XXXXXXXXXXX.¶
¶

Accidently hit some key. from that moment this character is appearing.
How to remove this character?

Turn off the option to view formatting marks in Word which is usually the
reason you'll see them in Outlook.
