Charts in PPT 2002

I get the following:
The server application, source file, or item can't be
found, or returned an unknown error. You may need to
reinstall the server application.


It happens when open or edit a chart.

Please, help asap.

you may want to check my questions I started below. some
people have tried to help me. I was having the same
problems and have still not been able to correct it. I
have ppt 2003 but am getting the same exact message
